Mega FM has launched a free mobile app — available on Android and iOS — that gives listeners the power to vote live for the weekly Uganda Hot 20 chart countdown, broadcast every Friday from 7–9pm.
The app, built by Kampala developer studio Andela Uganda, also includes live streaming, podcast on-demand, artist pages and a dedicated request line for the morning show. Station Manager Grace Namutebi said the app had received 18,000 downloads in its first day.
