The Uganda National Meteorological Authority (UNMA) has issued a heavy rainfall advisory for Kampala and the Central Region effective through Friday, warning residents of potential flash floods in low-lying areas.
"Expect 40-60mm of rainfall per day, concentrated in the evening and early morning hours," said UNMA Director General Joy Tukahirwa. "Motorists should exercise caution on Jinja Road, Northern Bypass and the Bwaise corridor."
