The Kampala International Film Festival (KIFF) has opened submissions for its 2026 edition, inviting East African filmmakers to submit short films (under 30 minutes), feature-length films and feature-length screenplay drafts by 30 April 2026.
This year's festival, themed "Stories Without Borders," will run from 22–29 August at National Theatre Kampala and selected screening venues across the city. Submissions are free and must be uploaded via the KIFF website.
