The Acholi Traditional Music & Dance Night returns to Gulu Cultural Centre on Saturday 4 April, with ten performing troupes from Gulu, Amuru, Nwoya, Kitgum and Agago competing for the Acholi Heritage Trophy.

Performances begin with larakaraka courtship dances at 5 PM, followed by bwola royal dance performances from 6 PM. The evening closes with a communal storytelling session led by Gulu's celebrated griot, Lapwony Odong Amoni.

This event is part of the Acholi Cultural Revival Programme supported by the Gulu City Council and the Uganda National Cultural Centre. Entry is free.
